This medium risk wide mattress has need designed to meet the needs of bariatric users. The profiling of the foam is cut one way at address shear and friction issues. This is to retain the support of the foam and reduce the potential for bottoming out. The mattress also has small profiles at the head and foot ends, and large cells for the sacral area.

A V-cut in the foam on the underside the mattress aids the profiling of the back rest. Also the foam is split at the top section and a glide membrane is bonded in place to provide additional protection from shear and friction.
